He cares more about what he has and what he can accumulate than those around him that need his help. He has turned his back on charity herself and watched idly by whilst others die or justice fail them. ‘
He had all he could have wanted except he was alone and his friend Daniel had the one thing he could never have the love and affection of a great friend and soul mate that is Shawn.
He could not let his friends Dan and Shawn be happy, he had to take what he had no right to take by forcing himself on Shawn and stealing his innocence. But Shawn was able to shun him. But this only angered him more than not having his way over his friend.
To him no one had the right to spurn his advances and say NO to him. If he could not get what he wanted or his Pride was hurt, he always lashed out. If he could not have Shawn then no one could. His friend came to protect his Soul mate but lost his life in the process. Julian’s Pride got the best of him and for that he lost his heart (with the loss of a friend) and finally his soul (with the murder of two).
Though he burnt away the evidence, his guilt was plain to see, though for what reason was a mystery to all those around. He drank in excess, to forget what he did.
What he did can no longer be discovered. Justice has been silenced but it is too late, he can never be redeemed. His drinking is all he does, as he has stopped everything else. The castle (of virtue & morality) has been breached and the King has been checked. He sold his soul to the Sin7, long, long time ago.
7deadlysins: The Damnation of Julien Uxbridge esq. : – I was tasked in Year two of my NCFE course to create a unique photographic representation of the Seven Deadly sins and through my research on Poetry and the mythology surrounding these sins, I created these 7 storyboard images of a man known as Julian Uxbridge esquire; his journey from the top to the bottom; his desires destroyed him in the end.
